Joel and Amanda Griffin

Joel and Amanda Griffin married in 2005 and have two beautiful daughters, Madalynn and Sophia. They were born and raised in Northwest Georgia where they have been involved with their home church, CrossPoint City in Cartersville, GA, since 2006. God called them as a family to serve internationally in January of 2016. After serving in Burkina Faso for 2 years, becoming appointed as long-term missionaries through Envision, and attending language school in France for 1 year they moved to Guinea in 2021.

They enjoy the fruitful partnerships they have built with the Guinea national church pastors, a local English center, child rescue center and other missionaries. They also enjoy the development and discipleship they get with short-term teams, 2-year residents, and interns.

Joanna Gregg

Joanna was born in Colorado but left at the age of three and has been on the move ever since. After graduating from university, she relocated to the Atlanta area in 2002 and began attending West Ridge Church in Dallas, Georgia, in 2007.

Joanna participated in her first of three short-term mission trips with West Ridge to Burkina Faso in 2008, which eventually led to her move there in January 2011. She served with Engage Burkina until the end of 2019, when the team made the difficult decision to leave due to security concerns. During that transition, Joanna sensed God’s leading to relocate to Guinea, where she now enjoys being part of the work God is doing there.

In Guinea, Joanna is involved in ministry through local churches, an English Center, a child rescue center, and partnerships with other missionaries. What Joanna finds most meaningful is the opportunity to invest in the development and discipleship of those who come to serve, as well as the local people she gets to work with.
